Family-style wedding (sample)

Beautiful weddings lend themselves to a family style of dinner service.  Your guests can remain seated at their table while we serve bountiful platters they can share.  Nobody has to stand in a buffet line and guests can all begin enjoying dinner at the same time.  The menu below was served at a summer tent wedding in the foothills for 200 guests.  You can read more about Devour tent weddings here.

Hors D’Oeuvres

Beef short rib burger with smoked tomato aioli
Sweet corn and crab salad in tortilla cone

On Table

Housemade assorted chips and breads with guacamole, peach salsa and tomato bruschetta

Salads

Mixed green salad with fresh berries, goat cheese and shallot sherry vinaigrette
Grilled vegetable, fresh herb and red quinoa salad with a honey herb vinaigrette

Mains

Roasted pepper crusted Alberta beef tenderloin with fresh chimichurri sauce
Cedar wrapped salmon with a blueberry zinfandel sauce

Sides

Grilled asparagus with Grana Padano
Roasted mixed baby beets with apples
Thyme and sea salt roasted fingerling potatoes

Dessert

Chocolate ganache cake with summer berries and vanilla crème
